Discovery

Initial contact within 24hrs. This phase is all about understanding your business and what you are trying to achieve. Your consultant will ask questions, suggest options and create a high level set of requirements for the project.

Estimation

The plan for the project comes together in this phase with the outline of tasks and approach confirmed. The consultant estimates effort and then determines the sequence in which the tasks will be completed.

Approval

A detailed proposal is provided which includes requirements, high level design, costs and timeframe. If the proposal is acceptable you provide approval and the project is scheduled for the next available start date.

Build

Build starts using existing Excel components developed by XLAutomation to ensure build timeframes are minimised. Unit Testing against your requirements ensures the solution is on track for the solution outcome.

Prototyping

As the build progresses you will receive iterative prototypes to review and provide feedback. It will start with confirming the 'look & feel' of the solution and then move

to the key functional components of the solution.

Project Complete

A final version is provided after all functionality is confirmed as working during the prototype phase. The client provides approval that all requirements have been met and a "live" version of the solution can be delivered.

Support

All Excel Consulting projects include one month free support to ensure any issues not identified during build & test phases are resolved quickly. This period can also be used to enhance the solution for new requirements.
