This client needed a quick and simple way to create rate cards for clients. They already had a set of rates for different transport options based on distance and vehicle types, but the steps required to determine the appropriate costs on a manual basis were time consuming and prone to errors.
A key requirement for this project was to provide the ability to produce a rate card for a set of destinations and then change those and generate a different rate card quickly if needed.

The solution was delivered using built-in Excel functions which provided a fast result when changing the rate card destinations and also a really simple spreadsheet the client could understand and modify to suit other requirements for different parts of their business.
